A Unique Education -- A Unique Setting

For more than 35 years, Hazelden has prepared alcohol and drug counselors who help individuals and families reclaim their lives from the disease of addiction.
Students at the Hazelden School of Addiction Studies discover an informal campus offering world-class educational opportunities in an environment conducive to learning, reflection and renewal.
Student services include computer-based learning facilities, the Hazelden library and resource center, and the Hazelden-Pittman Archives. The Hazelden library offers an extensive addiction collection and an inter-library loan system is available for student use. Two study rooms with computers, printers and telephones are also available for students.
The Cork Center offers complete physical fitness and recreational facilities on campus and is a top-notch recreational facility for Hazelden clients, staff, students and volunteers.
The facility includes a basketball court with walking track above, swimming pool, racquetball courts and a full circuit of weight machines and free weights, as well as aerobic exercise equipment. Exercise facilities available for student use at a nominal fee.
Located in Center City, Minnesota, the 500-acre campus features rolling lawns, woods, lakeshore and wetlands.
Distance learning is not available.
