Hazelden Books now distributed by Eurospan in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australasia
January 12, 2012
Eurospan and Hazelden are pleased to announce that Eurospan has extended its exclusive distribution contract with Hazelden Publishing. Booksellers will now be able to obtain Hazelden's complete list of books written for a general trade audience, as well as their professional resources, from Eurospan. Stock will be held by Eurospan in the United Kingdom for easy access by individuals in the book trade in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Australasia. Perseus Book Sales and Distribution represents Hazelden to the trade in the United States.
"This agreement enhances Hazelden's global reach to help individuals in their struggle with alcohol and drug addiction," said Nick Motu, publisher and vice president of Marketing and Communications at Hazelden.
Hazelden's publishing program started in 1954 with the publication of Richmond Walker's meditation book for people in recovery from addiction. Since then, Twenty-Four Hours a Day, also known as the "Little Black Book," has sold over eight million copies in 30 countries. Today, Hazelden is the leading publisher of books and resources for people in recovery--as well as evidence-based curricula and multimedia tools for professionals in the fields of treatment, mental health, education, and criminal justice. Hazelden's trade books--published in print and electronic formats--inspire, encourage, support, and celebrate sobriety, personal growth, and spiritual development.
